Update: Missing Lafayette Man Is Found

The 54-year-old man with a learning disability had left his Lafayette home on Friday afternoon

Police said Friday night that they had located an at-risk man who went missing from his Lafayette home earlier that afternoon.

There were no other details on how or where the man was found.

Hassan Hosham, 54, had been last seen leaving his home on Wilkinson Drive near downtown Lafayette around 3:30 p.m. and was believed to be somewhere in the area.

Hosham, 54, was considered at-risk because he suffers from a learning disability.

Police had asked residents to search the area around their home for Hosham.
