Crews Battling 1-Alarm House Blaze in Lafayette

Fire reported Friday shortly after 9 a.m. on Sweet Drive.

UPDATE: Friday, April 11 9:30 a.m.

 Contra Costa County Fire Protection District reports all occupants are out of the structure, and an ambulance was requested for a person, or persons, suffering from smoke inhalation.

Crews are fighting a one-alarm fire at a house in Lafayette this morning, according to a Contra Costa County Fire Protection District dispatcher.

The blaze was reported just before 9 a.m. at a single-family home in the 3300 block of Sweet Drive, according to the dispatcher.

The fire appears to be concentrated in a front room of the home, she said.

No injuries have been reported.
