In this probing and hopeful new play, an American teenager, Katie, pledges her help to an online pen pal from Uganda. But when Katie learns that her new friend hasn’t been totally honest about his past, she must decide whether to abandon her ideals or trust a stranger. Guest director Susannah Martin (Shotgun Players, California Shakespeare Theater) stages the West Coast premiere of this award-winning play by a rising star of the American theatre.
