Hacker Scouts - New Club for Boys/Girls in Lamorinda

Think a cross between Boy/Girl Scouts with the Maker Movement. Boys and girls, ages 8-14, learn skills to create their own projects in science, technology, engineering, art, and math including circuitry, robotics, computer programing, leather working, carpentry, textiles, and on and on. The scouts earn badges for each new skill they learn. Due to the nature of the club, we only have spots for 15 kids in the Fall and a new 15 in the Spring for an on-going group of 30. If you are interested for your child(ren), please go to www.hackerscoutslamorinda.com to learn more and sign up to be placed on the interest list. I'll organize a meeting in the next month or so and notify the interest list a week or so out. Along with kids, we are looking for mentors/experts to help teach scouts the skills listed above (and any other cool ones!).

We’ve removed the ability to reply as we work to make improvements. Learn more here
