I am an avid cyclist,husband,father of one,owner @ Traction Bikes. I have bicycle toured across the U.S. twice,raced competitively for four years and have owned my own business since 1982. I recently relocated my business to the cycling friendly community of Lamorinda.

My favorite ride is through the Berkeley hills.

My pre-ride beverage is Peet's and post ride beverage is usually a hoppy I.P.A.

When I finish up a bike build or repair it's time to catch up on the Spring classics racing at the shop on Steephill.tv

I commute by bike so if you see a guy with three or more flashing lights on his back at night please pass carefully.
