Built in 1937 by Colonel Garrett, Postino was originally the Lafayette Post Office. Later, it became a beauty salon…More and, after that, a priest's study. Today, the property is home to Postino Restaurant, an upscale restaurant with an atmosphere that invokes that Italian countryside. The restaurant serves a range of Italian and Mediterranean dishes and offers a large selection of fine wines. An in-house baker can also custom create birthday cakes or other desserts for special occasions.
Postino has several intimate dining rooms, five different rooms for private parties and a bar for ordering cocktails or casual dining. The restaurant also hosts various types of entertainment during the summer months.
