With all the interest in this vampire stuff the REd Cross should have a "Twilight" Drive.…Read More Shirtless hunky male vamps for female donors, toothy vampirellas for the guys.

I would LOVE to donate - used to 4x a year until I lived in Europe for a while. Now the Red Cross…Read More doesn't want my blood because they think I might have mad cow disease. It's a shame too - I've got the good old, common stuff that they always run low on. When is the Red Cross going to change their rules requiring people living outside the country for a while?

I say give Eclipse the North 40 to develop as they see fit. It is unused and more centrally located…Read More for the soccer kids from near and far.
Has anyone paid attention to Piedmont's Blair Park soccer squabble? They have private mega money available to build a monster soccer facility. But it happens to be on that city's last piece of available land (Think RLP). It is being stopped in its tracks by folks unwilling to pave paradise.

@Fritz: Ms. Chambers has framed this issue in uncharacteristic clarity:
"If the play area and…Read More picnic areas are fenced, you have now fenced in everyone except off leash dogs and owners." Clearly this is not an option that accommodates ALL park users.

Massive private money is also going toward the mega facility at Saint Mary's with some city leaders…Read More openly supporting the effort. Local sports clubs are already petitioning the college for use of the facilities and money is being waved around. Some city leaders have come out openly in support of such initiatives and college officials have had to take back statements made early in the process. The neighbors are not happy fro what I understand and there is a meeting tonight?? on the subject. Patch are you listening?

Hey, Orinda isn't "messy," but even a little litter each day over the course of a year…Read More accumulates. Orinda In Action Day is the perfect opportunity for residents to take pride in their community and contribute to a cleaner environment and a more beautiful city. It's also a very satisfying and rewarding experience. Please join us this Saturday.

I would think tearing down all the structures, removing all the paving, and all other traces of…Read More people on Mt. Diablo would make it beautiful again.
Glad people are saving the dirt, but there are still kids who go to bed hungry and can't read in OUR county - is there an App for that fatty?
