I am by no means perfect, but I have never broken into anyone's home with a loaded weapon. Ever. I…Read More love your 'no one is perfect' argument-hey, I shot my Gramma, but no one is perfect! I ran over a kid, but no one is perfect! I stabbed my little brother, but no one is perfect! I also love how you assume every person who thinks these thieves got what they deserved just has to be white. I don't care what color you are, if you break into my house with a loaded gun, you're an intruder and a thief and I'll do whatever I have to do to protect myself and my family.

I remember having Mrs. Robak for PE in the late seventies and early eighties at JMIS. She was a…Read More greater teacher and a class act. During the Iranian hostage crisis, when a big group of kids were taunting a smaller group of kids whose families had fled the Iranian revolution and settled in Moraga, Mrs. Robak was the only teacher I saw who tackled the problem head-on, sitting all of us down one day and explaining the irony of the situation - these kids' families were no friends of the revolution - to all, and demanding that the bullies cease and desist. I was so proud of her in that moment and have never forgot it. So sorry she lost her fight with breast cancer.
