Pendleton was founded in 1909 by three brothers who opened the first mill and originally specialized in the production of Indian blankets for which the Pendleton name is famous. Since then, the company has branched into men's and women's wear and accessories, as well as expanded its home and blankets division to include a wide range of blankets, throws, table linens, rugs and window coverings. The Lafayette shop is located in La Fiesta Square, with entries on both La Fiesta Square and Mt. Diablo Boulevard.
