Lafayette Cello Academy

Director Dawn Foster-Dodson believes that music is a way of life and that the cello is the most beautiful instrument. An accomplished performer herself, Foster-Dodson was born and raised in Lafayette and has had a rewarding career playing with luminaries such as Yo Yo Ma, Andre Watts, Stevie Wonder and Liza Minella, to name a few.  She offers private and group lessons, bowing and rhythm classes as well as chamber music coaching. In addition, she also has cellos available to rent or to buy.
