Miramonte, Acalanes Compete This Weekend In High School Football Playoffs
Campolindo has a bye week in the first round of the North Coast Section playoffs
Miramonte High is on the road, Acalanes High is at home and Campolindo High has a bye as the North Coast Section football playoffs get under way this weekend.
Miramonte is ranked third in the Division II playoffs. They'll play at 1 p.m. Saturday in Hayward against 14th seeded Tennyson High.
The Matadors finished the regular season with an 8-2 record while Tennyson was 7-3.
Acalanes is ranked seventh in the Division III playoffs. The Dons will battle 10th ranked Sonoma Valley at home at 7 p.m. Saturday.
Both teams finished the regular season with 7-3 records.
The winner of Saturday's game will take on second ranked Campolindo at the Cougars' home field on Friday, Nov. 22.
Campolindo has a first round bye. They finished the regular season with a 10-0 record.
