High School Football: Campolindo Finishes Perfect Regular Season

Miramonte High also finishes strong as teams await word on playoff seedings

Campolindo High finished off a perfect regular season as they dominated Dublin High, 50-24, in Friday night football action.

The Cougars led 23-0 after the first period against the Gaels and cruised to victory.

Campolindo ends the regular season with a 10-0 record, including a 6-0 mark in Diablo Foothill Athletic League competition. They had clinched the league title last week.

Dublin finishes with a 3-7 overall record and a 1-5 mark in league play.

Miramonte High ended their regular season on a winning note by defeating Alhambra High, 56-28.

The Matadors finished the regular season with an 8-2 record and a 5-1 mark in DFAL play. Their only league loss was to Campolindo.

Alhambra finishes with a 2-7-1 overall record and a 1-5 DFAL mark.

Acalanes High finished their regular season last week with a 7-3 overall record and a 3-3 league record.

The teams now await word from North Coast Section officials on Sunday for the seedings in next week's playoffs.
