Cross Country Championships: Campolindo Wins Boys, Girls Titles
The Cougars win both the individual and team titles in the North Coast Section Division III races
Campolindo High took home both the boys and girls titles in the North Coast Section Division III cross country championships on Saturday.
The Cougar boys won their race with a low score of 43 on the course at Hayward High School.
Aidan Goltra led his team to victory by winning the 3-mile race in a Division III course record time of 14:44.
Campolindo placed their five scoring runners in the top 16 places.
The Cougar girls won their race with a low score of 25.
Brighie Leach led her team by winning the 3-mile race in a time of 17:26. It was the fastest girls time on the course in any division.
Campolindo placed their five scoring runners in the top nine places.
Also in Division III, the Miramonte High boys team finished fourth with a score of 121.
The Acalanes High boys finished sixth with a score of 148.
The Miramonte girls finished fifth in their race with a score of 126.
