Campolindo, Miramonte Will Battle For Boys & Girls Water Polo Titles

The two schools will face off in both the Boys Division I and the Girls Division II finals in the North Coast Section playoffs

Campolindo High and Miramonte High will fight it out on Saturday for both the boys and the girls water polo titles at the North Coast Section playoffs.

In the boys' Division I championship game, top seeded Miramonte will take on second ranked Campolindo at 4:30 p.m. at the Acalanes High School pool.

On Wednesday, Miramonte defeated fourth seeded Las Lomas High, 11-4, in the semifinal game.

Campolindo knocked off sixth ranked San Ramon Valley High, 11-5, in their semifinal match.

Entering Saturday's final, Miramonte is 19-8 on the season while Campolindo is 21-6.

In the girls Division II championship game, top seeded Campolindo will face off against second ranked Miramonte at 3 p.m. at the Acalanes pool.

On Wednesday, Campolindo defeated fourth ranked Acalanes High, 9-4, in their semifinal match.

Miramonte swamped third seeded Sir Frances Drake, 12-6, in their semifinal game.

Entering Saturday's championship, Campolindo is 23-3 on the season while Miramonte is 20-6.
