Campo, Mats Advance In NCS Quarterfinal Play

Miramonte comes out on top in their game with the Analy Tigers and Campolindo chalks up another win, too.

 

With the Dons of Acalanes out of the picture after Friday's loss to the El Cerrito Gauchos, the two remaining Lamorinda teams found themselves in the spotlight after decisive wins in NCS post-season play.

Campolindo's Cougars came out ahead in their matchup with Drake at home, winning 50-44 and bringing their overall season record to 20-5-0.

The Mats also advanced Friday, besting the Analy Tigers in a double-overtime contest on Miramonte's home court and delivering a lofty 98-87 win, bringing the team to 19-8-0 overall with Kiran Shastri and Joey Goodreault gearing up and coming through with stellar performances to give the Mats the win.
