Acalanes, Campolindo Win Baseball, Softball NCS Championships

Acalanes High won its third straight North Coast Section baseball championship while Campolindo High captured NCS crowns in both softball and baseball on Saturday.

Top-seeded Acalanes High earned the Division III baseball championship by edging third-seeded Analy High, 4-3.

The Dons finished their season with a 20-7 record.

Campolindo High's baseball squad won its fourth straight Division II title by shutting out top-seeded Casa Grande High, 8-0.

The second-seeded Cougars finished their season with a 21-6-1 record.

The Campolindo High softball team captured their Division III crown by upsetting top-seeded Terra Linda High, 4-3 in extra innings.

The seventh-seeded Cougars finished their season with a 15-9 record. The team barely made the playoffs after ending the regular season with an 11-9 record.
