12 Locals Complete Boston Marathon
There was an impressive showing from Lamorindans in the prestigious race.
In a race which Kenya's Geoffrey Mutai ran the fastest marathon in recorded history, 12 Lamorinda residents also took part in the 115th annual Boston Marathon Monday.
Blake Wise, 40, turned the fastest time of the day — a 3:15:05 official time, which is a pace of 7:27 per mile.
Heather Callister, 36, was Lamorinda's fastest woman of the day, finishing in 3:22.39.
