Local high school kids will get a chance to show off their dance moves and support their school's athletic programs during a sports-themed "Fan Fest" dance for , and students April 22 at the .
Students from the Moraga Youth Involvement Committee (MYIC), Orinda Teen Advisory Council (OTAC) and Lafayette Youth Commission (LYC) worked together to come up with a fun, safe, local event.
The students determined the theme, set the dress code, advertising scheme, eligibility and rules. In addition to the ticket price, and keeping with the theme, attendees are required to contribute $2 at the door that will support Lamorinda high-school athletic programs.
Tickets are $15 before April 8, $20 before April 22 and $25 at the door.
