Teresa Gerringer Selected As Lafayette School Board President

The veteran trustee will oversee the school board for 2014

Teresa Gerringer was selected by her fellow board members on Wednesday night to be president of the Lafayette School District Board of Education for 2014.

Gerringer has been on the board since 2000 and has already served two one-year terms as board president. She is up for re-election again next fall.

Gerringer is also the district's representative on the California School Boards Association.

On Wednesday night, the trustees also selected David Gerson to be board clerk. He has been on the board since 2010 and is also up for re-election next fall.
