School Registration Time in Lamorinda: What You Need To Know

Where and how to register your student for the new school year in Lamorinda.

Lafayette:

Registration for the Lafayette School District, which includes:

You can register at the district office, 3477 School St., through tomorrow (Aug. 2). Otherwise go to the school of your residence for registration. You will need to bring three types of proof of residency, including:

  • passport or driver’s license;
  • rental or lease agreement;
  • state or federal tax return or paycheck stub.

Also required will be the child’s birth certificate, emergency contact information, and full immunization records.

Acalanes High School registration:

Residency verification, Aug. 7 – Aug. 13, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Parents will need to take the following documents to the registration office:

Rental/lease agreement or property tax bill and state or federal income tax return or most recent pay stub with address.

Online registration, Aug.  7 - Aug. 20. This is required for all students.

Orinda:

Parents of children newly entering the Orinda Union School District may register at the district office through the summer. Here is a list of requirements for registration.

  • Child’s birth certificate or passport;
  • Proof of residency;
  • Current Immunization Record;
  • Most recent physical exam and oral health exam documentation;
  • Child’s Social Security Number (if one has been issued);
  • Name and address of current school;
  • Emergency contact information
