Saint Mary's Jan Termers Go To Work In Cambodia

Patch is getting periodic dispatches from a group of 18 Saint Mary's College students and their professors who decided to take a little trip this Jan Term and do some good -- in Cambodia.

Every January, between the Fall and Spring semester, St. Mary's College gives its students the opportunity to explore topics of their choice outside of their academic majors -- both on and off campus.

Brandon Finstad and Ksenija Soster Olmer organized a group of students interested in helping the people of Cambodia, landed there a couple of days ago and immediately went to work.

The students are traveling to remote villages of Cambodia visiting clinics, teaching in schools, delivering medical supplies, books, and clothes. From the look of their most recent pictures, they've picked up a few t-shirts along the way.
