It was touch and go for a couple of local high schools as power outages and strong competition made Friday night openers for and high schools "challenging" Friday - while the Dons of came out big against Ygnacio Valley during Saturday's game at Diablo Valley College.

The Dons led the game 28-0 at the half and took it home to a 49-0 finish, blanking the Warriors.

Campo beat Moreau Catholic 37-14 despite a game-stopping power outage. Miramonte edged past Analy 36-35.
