Hoop It Up: Lamorinda Holds World Record
The March 25 event at Del Rey Elementary School, Orinda, has been certified as the largest hula hoop workout ever by Guinness World Records.
It's official and so celebrated on the Guinness World Records website — Del Rey Elementary School in Orinda has set the record for the largest hula hoop workout ever.
Volunteers and staff organized a massive assault on the record March 25, and Guinness has certified 402 participants who rocked hula hoops to the broadcast music of Chris Brown singing "Let's Go."
