Lamorinda High Schools Add New Associate Principals

In uncertain times, the schools keep chugging along, working to fill supporting roles for the students.

The Acalanes Union High School District hired two new associate principals in its governing board meeting on April 13. Rhea Brandon and Michael McAllister will step into their roles on July 1, 2011.

Brandon comes to the district from Amador Valley High School in Pleasanton, where she has served as assistant principal for five years. She holds a master’s in school psychology from Northern Arizona University and received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota.

McAllister attended the University of California at Berkeley. He has taught at Acalanes High School in the social science department and served as an administrative intern in 2003-2004.
