The Greenbelt Alliance presents - Native Trees

Join Greenbelt Alliance Outings and Volunteer Coordinator Ken Lavin for a talk and slide presentation featuring native trees of the East Bay. Ken's presentation will include interesting tidbits and stories about the trees around us, including how they were used by Native Americans and pioneers. Ken will also describe the adventures (and misadventures) of intrepid 19th century explorers who visited the East Bay in search of botanic discoveries. He'll also talk about how the changing climate might affect the future of the native trees around us.
