"Obamacare or Romneycare? Why Debate Over Healthcare Reform is Missing the Point"

Visiting Woodrow Wilson Fellow Shannon Brownlee, a nationally known author, health care advocate and acting director of the New America Foundation’s Health Policy Program, will spend a week at Saint Mary’s College of California and will deliver a public lecture entitled "Obamacare or Romneycare? Why Debate Over Healthcare Reform is Missing the Point.”

Brownlee’s lecture will be held February 14, 2012  at 7 p.m. at the Saint Mary’s College Soda Activity Center, 1928 St. Mary’s Road, Moraga CA, 9455. The lecture is free and open to the public.

During Brownlee’s visit — from February 12-17, 2012 — she’ll speak with student groups, visit classes and discuss the current state of health care in our nation. A topic that is of extreme importance during the 2012 presidential race, as the U.S. Supreme Court will examine the constitutionality of President Obama’s Health Care Act in March 2012.
