Cougars and Dons at Campo; Miramonte Travels to Dublin

Friday night and a bunch of excited kids are getting ready to take to local football fields to decide who has the better team -- for tonight, at least.

So far this season it is the Dons of Acalanes hanging on to a perfect record. They'll be going up against the Cougars of Campolindo, at Campolindo -- to see if they can hold onto that record tonight.

Of course, last year was the Cougar's season to shine, defying the critics and earning a bid for the state championship. The Don's edged past a visiting Tennyson Lancers team last week to stay perfect, and hope to come out on top against Campo -- who undoubtedly would like a win against their cross-town rival for a boost to their current 3-1 record, after a loss against El Cerrito.

And over in Orinda the Matadors of Miramonte High School will board the bus tonight for a trip down to Dublin and a meeting with the 2-2 Gaels. Shoot any video of any of the games or have game pictures, feel free to post them here.
