Where To Take Your Mail-In Ballots

Voters are encouraged to hand deliver their ballots for Tuesday’s election if their vote-by-mail ballot isn’t already in the mail.

The Alameda County Registrar of Voters office is urging people who haven’t mailed their vote-by-mail ballots to turn them in by hand to ensure they are counted.

Ballots must be received at the registrar’s office or at polling locations by 8 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 6, or they won’t be counted.

A postmark indicating the ballot was sent before Tuesday does not constitute a valid ballot, according to state election laws. Vote-by-mail ballots turned in at the polls get counted after all other ballots.

The Registrar of Voters office will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday for people to drop off the vote-by-mail ballots as well as conduct other voting business. The office is located in the basement of the Alameda County Courthouse, 1225 Fallon St., Oakland.

More information on mail-in ballots can be found here.

Vote-by-mail voters should sign their name in the signature box on the back of the ballot envelope.  Voters should not sign the actual ballot.

lol at bing being better than google, that's hilarious. The two parties, both only have one goal in mind, to sustain power. Something that is splitting this country in half. Which could be a good thing, because it will bring on something new. Like I said, can't wait.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=pisBdNLmo-A#t=3075s Shows how easy it is to exploit electronic voting, and that it has been done before. http://thegrio.com/2012/11/02/ohio-secretary-of-state-accused-of-installing-suspicious-software-on-voting-machines/ More evidence of RECENT voter fraud. "Voting machines will never be safe. If there is software running and an interface for transferring data there will always be a way to manipulate."
