Town of Moraga Meets, Announces Its Priorities
The Town of Moraga held a couple of public meetings to help determine the town's direction and focus. It got an answer.
After two public meetings and hours of input from more than 40 concerned citizens the Town of Moraga has whittled down a list of 55 stated goals and a public wish list to five.
The Town Council and staff met last week to whittle down public input taken during sessions in January and February, narrowing a list of 55 goals to 18 activities within just five goals.
The town's five goals for 2011 are:

- Revitalize economic development
- Create fiscal sustainability
- Enhance communications with the community
- Improve existing partnerships, such as the town's relationship with Saint Mary's College
