Town Hall On Transportation Will Be Held In Orinda On Wednesday Night

The event, hosted by state Sen. Mark DeSaulnier, will include speakers from Google and the Contra Costa Transportation Authority

A town hall meeting on transportation in California will be held on Wednesday night in Orinda.

The session is from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Orinda Library Auditorium, 26 Orinda Way.

The meeting is hosted by state Sen. Mark DeSaulnier, the chairman of the Senate's Transportation and Housing Committee.

The topic is: The Future of Transportation in California: Challenges and Opportunities.

Speakers will include representatives from Google, the Contra Costa Transportation Authority and California Partners for Advanced Transportation Technology.
