County Supervisor Candace Andersen is on the agenda to speak to the Lafayette City Council Monday about fire station developments.

The Contra Costa County Fire Protection District and the Moraga-Orinda Fire District have been in discussions about a potential joint venture between the two agencies to operate a station in Orinda near the Lafayette boundary.

On Andersen's supervisorial website, she has an overview of fire district issues.

The council meets at Community Hall
at the Lafayette Library, 3491 Mt. Diablo Blvd. A closed session on negotiations with city bargaining representatives is scheduled for 6 p.m. Andersen's presentation is on the agenda listed as 7 p.m.
