Moraga Town Council Election: Who's In
Another candidate emerged Friday as the deadline to file candidacy papers for one of two open seats on the Moraga Town Council came and went.
Two seats are up for grabs on the Moraga Town Council and it appears a robust number of Moragans want the job.
Resident Seth Freeman filed papers Friday, rounding out the field of two incumbents - Ken Chew and Dave Trotter - and a husband and wife team - Dennis and Eleni Wanken - who have announced their intent to run.

- Dave Trotter, serving council member since 2006, attorney, Moraga Planning Commission, Chair 1994-1996; President and Director, Moraga Historical Society, 1996-2002.
- Ken Chew, serving Mayor, civil engineer, elected to Town Council in 2006. Appointed to the Moraga Planning Commission in February 2003, and reappointed to serve two more terms in February 2004 and February 2006. Served on the Acalanes Union High School District's (AUHSD) Measure B Citizen's Oversight Committee from 2004 to 2008.
