MOFD Board Meets Wednesday at Moraga Library
The Board will recognize John Wyro as out-going President of the Board of Directors, and is expected to approve funding for the purchase of the district's new administrative offices.
Wednesday night's Moraga-Orinda Fire District board of director's meeting will be held in the community room at the Moraga Library, 1500 Saint Mary's Road.
The meeting is expected to begin at 7 p.m.
On the agenda for Wednesday is the board's recognition of outgoing president John Wyro, a summary of fire calls handled by MOFD on a month-to-month basis, and discussion and expected approval of funding to acquire and refurbish a building for use as the district's administrative offices -- a decision which has come under fire by citizens and some local officials.
