Lafayette Planning Commission Meets Wednesday

Here's the agenda for a special meeting of the Lafayette Planning Commission scheduled for this Wednesday evening.

On the agenda and up for consideration is a plan to build a new community garden on a parcel of land on the EBMUD filter plant facility site at Mount Diablo Blvd. and El Nido Ranch Road. Applications for signage and fencing variances are expected to be approved.

Also on the agenda will be initial discussion of the public hearing process for amendments to the General Plan and adoption of the Downtown Specific Plan. After initial discussion, this matter is expected to be continued to the Jan. 17 commission meeting.
