The Circulation Commission meets at 7 p.m.
Lafayette Library and Learning Center, Arts & Science Discovery Center, 3491 Mt. Diablo Blvd. Agenda items include:

  • Looking at previous traffic studies and deciding how to incorporate the relevant portions into downtown congestion study;
  • Request funding for a study of the Pleasant Hill Road/Olympic Blvd. and Reliez Station Rd. and Beechwood Dr. corridors.
  • Report on city preparations for the BART strike.
The Planning Commission meets at 7 p.m.
  • Lafayette Library and Learning Center, 3491 Mt. Diablo Blvd. Agenda items include:

  • Request for a hillside development permit for two single family homes on a hillside on the north side of Happy Valley Rd., just east of 4008 Happy Valley Rd. This is only phase one of the approval phase, and only size and locations of the proposed homes will be discussed.
  • Sprint’s application to build two new cell antennae on 4104 El Nido Ranch Rd.

  • Consideration of the Planning Commission’s denial of a request from the Orindawoods Homeowner’s Association to remove a 54-inch oak tree from a hillside due to be graded;

Moraga:

Planning Commission meets at 7 p.m.
Moraga Library Community Room, 1500 St. Mary’s Rd. Agenda items include:

  • Consideration of changing the city’s rules regarding when a project requires design review, and allowing the Planning Director to act in that capacity in some cases;
  • Review a proposal to make changes in the town’s lot size, yard, and setback requirements.

 Traffic Safety Advisory Committee has been cancelled this week.
