LAMORINDA DEMOCRATS PRESENT “A MONTH OF ACTION: HOW YOU CAN GET INVOLVED IN THE 2012 ELECTIONS”

The Lamorinda Democratic Club’s September 13 meeting will
feature ways for YOU to get involved in the 2012 elections. President Obama
needs help to insure that he will have a supportive Congress during his second
term. Volunteers can help two congressmen secure their seats – John Garamendi
and Jerry McNerney - and two candidates hoping to unseat the current Republican
opponents and add two more Democrats to Congress – Ami Bera and Jose Hernandez.
All four seats have been targeted by the Republicans which is why the
candidates are asking for help.

Volunteers can register voters, walk
precincts, make telephone calls to voters in the above Congressional Districts,
host "meet and greet" parties in their home for friends and family,
educate people to the facts that refute the lies that are being told by the
Republicans about President Obama and his government. At this very important
meeting of the Lamorinda Democratic Club, either the abovementioned candidates
or a spokesman representing each candidate will share information about their
campaign and what help is particularly needed. In addition there will be representatives
from various action groups like Move-On and OFA (Obama for America) who will
have tables with literature and sign-ups for volunteers to help.

Come ready to roll up your sleeves!
