Other facts

Taken from 2010 campaign statement: Fiscal Responsibility * Balanced budget, but have not set aside money needed to fix infrastructure problems * Control costs, instead of trying to control revenues * Pension reform that will save Moraga hundreds of thousands of dollars * Critical to raise revenue in order to maintain infrastructure Development * The longer we take to fix infrastructure, the worse it's going to be. * Retain the businesses we have, stabilize and find out what we need to do to help them. * Opposed to Downtown Specific Plan proposed by incumbents, incompatible with the ideals of a semi-rural community. Open Space * Be consistent with General Plan * Avoid ridge-line homes Open Government * Increasing transparency and public inclusion in the governmental process * Critical to support the school system every way we can * Town should be the biggest cheerleader for the school district Personal Quote: "My perspective is quite different from the current council. I'm un-entrenched; I don't have a long political history. I don't owe anybody any favors. I bring creative, new ideas."

Seth, you have been a pretty vocal and animated supporter of Lamorinda Dogs. At previous town council meetings you have clearly and demonstrably shown your alignment with the group that brought a lawsuit against the town of Moraga. How do we know you won't be a single issue candidate?

What is your position on the 1% sales tax increase for Moraga ?

Seth, I could not think of a better candidate for the job. Open minded, great collaborator and long time Moraga resident with a mind for Finance - something Moraga needs desperately. Looking forward to voting for you in the fall.

Lamorinda Dogs did not file a lawsuit against Moraga. It was filed by private citizens to prevent Mendonca, Harpham and Chew from ramrodding their personal agenda for the park down our collective throats without even going through the legally required EIR process.
