Do You Have Public Sector Finance Experience? Moraga Wants You

The Town Council is accepting applications to serve on a Measure K oversight committee.

The Measure K sales tax will be collected for the next two decades, and Moraga is looking for experienced bean counters to watch how the money is spent. Interested? Drop them a line.

The Council has created a new Town of Moraga Local Sales Tax Oversight Committee of seven volunteers to foster an objective and transparent review of the use of Measure K revenue.

The Committee will review audits and track the performance of the paving programs and services to prepare an independent report for the Council regarding the use of Measure K funds.

The Town is currently recruiting candidates to serve on the Committee with expertise in finance and accounting (preferably public sector finance); pavement management and engineering; capital project management; and public affairs and communications.
