Candidates Line Up for Lamorinda School Board Races

It's shaping up to be an interesting election year in Lamorinda, with some twists and turns in the town and city council races. Not to be outdone, the local school districts are also seeing widespread interest in available school board seats.

Races for positions on Lamorinda school district boards are gelling into real contests as multiple candidates appear to be vying for available seats.

Incumbents have announced their candidacy for return engagements in Lafayette, Moraga, and the Acalanes Union High School District - with an extension period looming in Orinda as incumbents there have not - so far - shown interest in any of the board's three available seats.

As of Friday, the list of candidates for each of the four Lamorinda school board elections looks like this:
