Ballot Box 2012: A Key to the California Election

Join two acclaimed columnists and discuss what Californians should expect in this year's election.

The 2012 Election is just weeks away—you may be thinking of some of the topics surrounding this year's candidates or issues that you don't understand too well on a local level.

The Lafayette Library and Learning Center will be hosting a night where you can talk to veteren political columnist Dan Walters with the Sacramento Bee and Daniel Borenstein, editorial columnist for the Contra Costa Times and Oakland Tribune.

Ballot Box 2012: A Key to the California Election will be held at the Lafayette Library and Learning Center Wednesday October 24. It is located at 3491 Mt.Diablo Boulevard, Lafayette. The event starts at 6:00pm and the cost to attend is $20 standard fee, $12 members, and $7 for students with a valid ID.

Californians will consider solutions to the state’s budgetary woes, campaign finance reform and a proposed repeal of the three-strikes law, among many other initiatives.

For more information or to purchase tickets, you may visit the Commonwealth Club event page.
