Advance Look: Lafayette Planning Commission Meets to Review Downtown Plan

Far from sleepy bedroom communities, Lamorinda is bustling - and decisions are being made that will determine how we live here in the years to come. We'll send out a "heads up" on specific meetings as the agendas are drawn up.

The future look and feel of Lafayette's downtown is being shaped now.

Lafayette City Manager Steven Falk says the Planning Commission’s review of the draft Downtown Specific Plan continues on Tuesday, February 22 when it considers traffic circulation, creeks and parks in the downtown.

Also on the agenda is a request to operate a French language school downtown and to install a telecommunications facility at St. Anselm’s Church. The meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Hall of the Lafayette Library & Learning Center, 3491 Mt. Diablo Blvd.
