Youngstrom Funeral Brings Hundreds of Officers to Vacaville
Leisure Town Road filled with traffic as funeral set to start.
9:58 a.m.: Set for 10 a.m., many continue to arrive in Vacaville for the funeral of Officer Kenyon Youngstrom, a resident of Fairfield who was shot in the line of duty on Sept. 4, 2012, and subsequently died from his injuries. The funeral is open to the public, but the seating is limited.
9:29 a.m.: Expect delays as offiers from all over the state, and as far away as Reno, Nevada, are arriving for the funeral of CHP Officer Kenyon Youngstrom. In addition, delays have been reported along Interstate 80 as the funeral procession makes its way to Vacaville.

Police officers from as far east as Reno and south as Daly City, Milpitas, San Mateo and Santa Barbara are currently at The Mission Church on Leisure Town Road in Vacaville. Lamorinda officers are also represented.
