Woman Robbed At Gunpoint At Orinda BART Station
BART police are searching for a man who robbed a woman of her purse and briefcase at the Orinda BART station Thursday.
Police in Lamorinda are on the lookout for a gunman who approached a woman at the Orinda BART station Thursday morning and robbed her at gunpoint.
The crime was reported at 7 a.m., with a lone black male in his 40s approaching a woman commuter, brandishing a handgun and robbing her of her purse and briefcase. A monetary loss has not been established.

BART police described the armed robber as clean shaven, wearing a dark or grey hoodie and fleeing the area in a silver, four-door sedan last seen heading west on Highway 24.
The woman was shaken but not injured during the incident.
