1900 block of Ascot Drive - Four cars were vandalized within a few hours of each other, each receiving between $200 and $400 worth of damage. There were no witnesses.

11:20pm – Police received a report of a car doing donuts in the parking lot of the Wells Fargo Bank. By the time officers arrived, the car was gone.

11:37am – Police stopped a car for speeding on Moraga Rd. The driver was going 54 mph in a 35 mph zone. When examining his driver’s license, it was discovered the license was a fake. The driver, a 20-year-old, admitted he bought the fake license to buy alcohol. He was arrested on the scene for driving with a fake license and released on an agreement to appear in court.

1:04pm – Police received a report of an elderly woman creating a disturbance in a business on the 1300 block of Moraga Way. They found a 93-year-old woman who was transported to county hospital in Martinez on suspicion of being a danger to herself or others.
2:56pm – A 13-year-old boy was reported missing from a home of a friend, where he had been taking a nap. The boy had left his shoes and clothes. Officers later found him sleepwalking. He didn’t know where he was when contacted. He was unharmed and reunited with his parents.

12:03am – Police received word that people were seen on a hill near the intersection of Moraga Rd. and Rheem Blvd. painting a large rock. When police arrived, they heard people alert each other to their presence, and police could find no one. In the dark, they couldn’t tell what was painted on the rock.
8:20pm – Officers received a call about a fight at TJ Maxx. They determined that a mother, her teenage daughter and two store employees were in an argument, during which the girl slapped one of the employees and threw a granola bar at the other. No charges were filed.
