Two Burglaries in Moraga On Monday

Police say both homes were entered when doors were kicked in.

Two homes fell prey to burglars Monday, according to Lt. Jeff Price of the Moraga Police Department. Given the time frames and method of entry, the burglaries may have been the work of the same person or people.

A home on Larch Avenue was entered when the thief kicked in the front door, police say, between 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. Monday. Jewelry was stolen in that incident.

The second home, on Calle La Mesa, was broken into when the thief kicked in a side garage door between 1:15 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. A white car with a rear spoiler may be involved in that crime, Price said.
