Moraga Road is closed in both directions between Old Jonas Hill Road and Sky Hi due to a fallen tree and downed power lines, according to Moraga police.
Alternate routes to avoid detours and delays are advised.
A detour is posted on Moraga Road at Sky Hi in Moraga for northbound traffic.
Southbound traffic is being diverted at Old Jonas Hill Road in Lafayette, police said.
The road closure is anticipated until approximately 10:30 a.m., police said.
