Traffic Advisory: Truck Flips On Westbound 24 at Highway 13

Orindan Steve Cohn checks in to report that a "Large truck just flipped onto its side blocking 2 left lanes of Highway 24 westbound at Highway 13. Traffic backed up into the tunnel so far.  Could get ugly before its over."

A call to the California Highway Patrol confirms that three lanes are currently blocked (4:13 p.m.) and that the truck was carrying a load of scrap metal.

This came in at 1:32 p.m. and we're monitoring for the "ripple effect" eastward back toward Orinda.
