Suspicious Incident Sparks Alert for Orinda Schoolkids

Two boys walking home from Wagner Ranch School at around 4:40 p.m. Friday were approached by a stranger near the intersection of North and Ardilla. They walked on but the man persisted, and now area schools are advising caution for other students in the area.

The boys reported that this individual asked them where they were going and offered them a ride, then offering to walk with them when they declined. They hurried home and reported the incident to police.

A white male in his 40s with graying hair, slender build and approximately 6 feet tall. He was last seen wearing khaki colored cargo shorts and a shirt.
