Suspicious Incident Sparks Alert for Orinda Schoolkids

Two Wagner Ranch students are approached by a stranger on Friday. They do the smart thing. Police advised.

Two boys walking home from Wagner Ranch School at around 4:40 p.m. Friday were approached by a stranger near the intersection of North and Ardilla. They walked on but the man persisted, and now area schools are advising caution for other students in the area.

The boys reported that this individual asked them where they were going and offered them a ride, then offering to walk with them when they declined. They hurried home and reported the incident to police.
