Property Stolen in Lafayette Burglary Found During Probation Check

While conducting a search at the home of a Walnut Creek man on felony probation Wednesday afternoon, officers found stolen property traced to a recent commercial burglary in Lafayette, police reported.

Stephen Walker, 44, of Geary Road, Walnut Creek, was booked into the Martinez Detention Facility for felony no-bail violation of probation, burglary and possession of stolen property, according to a press release by the Walnut Creek Police Department.

Walker was on probation for possession for sales of controlled substances.
