Moraga Police Chief Robert Priebe said his officers were dispatched when ammunition for the weapon and 2.5 pounds of marijuana, all packaged for sale according to police, were also discovered.

Priebe said no immediate arrests were made as the car's student owner offered police a "compassionate caregiver defense," but the incident is being investigated and will be presented to the district attorney if warranted.
